Refund & Cancellation Policy

Sphyx Digital Private Limited(“Sphyx”) believes in transparent, fair refunds. This policy applies to all payments made on sphyx.in via our payment partners (Razorpay, Stripe, or others).
1. Service categories
Our offerings fall into three categories. Refund rules differ by category:
- One-time services — project-based engagements (logo design, website build, brand identity, etc.)
- Subscription services — recurring monthly / annual plans (hosting, SEO retainer, social media management, etc.)
- Custom / quoted work — bespoke scopes documented in a separate proposal
2. Refund eligibility
A. One-time services
- Before kick-off (within 48 hours of payment, no work begun): 100% refund minus payment-gateway fees (~3%).
- During work (≤25% delivered): pro-rated refund of the unused portion.
- During work (≥50% delivered): no refund; remaining scope is delivered as agreed.
- Approved deliverables: non-refundable once you have signed off on a milestone.
B. Subscription services
- Cancel any time from your account or by emailing info@sphyx.in.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you retain access until then.
- No refunds for partially-used billing periods.
- First-month money-back guarantee: if a new subscription is cancelled within the first 7 days and you've not used the service, we refund 100%.
C. Custom / quoted work
Refund terms are specified in the engagement's statement of work. Default is the same as one-time services above unless the SOW says otherwise.
3. How to request a refund
- Email info@sphyx.in with the subject “Refund request — <your invoice / order ID>”.
- Include the reason for the request and any supporting details.
- We acknowledge within 1 business day and resolve within 5–7 business days.
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method.
4. Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service when payment fails, when scope expectations are unmet, when there is suspected fraud, or when the engagement contravenes our acceptable-use policies. In such cases, unused fees will be refunded.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. A chargeback raised without a prior refund request may result in account suspension and recovery actions.
6. Disputes
Disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and are subject to the jurisdiction of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
